Canning 103a – Green Tomatoes 10-26

Wondering what to do with all those green tomatoes? Well don’t throw them out, there are some wonderful recipes for these unripened garden treasures. Join us for this class and learn how to enjoy your harvest long after the growing season is done. During this class we will review safe home canning practices as well as review the best recipes for preparing and preserving green tomatoes. Students will get to take home a jar of a freshly canned tomato product they made in class.
