How can I see what your ingredients are in your products?
Most of the time our ingredients are listed on each product page. If you are looking for a specific ingredient or trying to avoid a specific ingredient, you can always send us a message and we will get you more information. Ingredient transparency is one of our core values and we will always share this information before you make a purchase.
Do you use preservatives in your products?
Yes – if it is needed in the formula. Water and “water-y” ingredients require a preservative to stay safe. If this is not done then your product can grow bacteria which will harm your skin. This is part of a proper formulation. We use preservative that are skin safe and gentle – never using parabens or other preservatives that are deemed less than desirable.
Do you make all of your products?
Yes – right here on our farm in Idaho. All of our products are hand made on the farm in our dedicated manufacturing facility.
Do you have a store I can visit?
Yes we do. You can visit our Country Store at 7040 Desert Wolf Lane in Star Idaho. The store is located on the front of the property and the hours are M-F 10AM-6PM and Saturday 10AM – 2PM. You can always text us to request access to the store after these hours. The number is 208-576-4726
Questions About Tallow?
Everything you need to know about our Tallow Products
What makes tallow so good for the skin?
Tallow closely mimics our skin’s natural oils, helping balance moisture and strengthen the skin barrier. It’s rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K — all essential for soft, healthy skin.
Does it smell like beef or have an animal scent?
No — not at all. Our grass-fed tallow is carefully purified and blended with natural ingredients that leave only a soft, clean scent (or your chosen fragrance).
Is your tallow ethically sourced?
Yes — we render our tallow from grass-fed beef raised with care, ensuring nothing goes to waste. It’s a sustainable ingredient that honors both the animal and the land.
Does it leave a greasy feeling?
Not at all. Our tallow blends absorb quickly, leaving a soft, satin finish that feels natural, not heavy.
Does tallow clog pores?
No. Tallow’s fatty acid profile is very similar to human sebum, which helps balance oil production rather than block it. It actually supports skin barrier repair and moisture balance.
Can I use tallow products year-round?
Absolutely. In colder months, tallow helps protect against dryness; in warmer seasons, it balances and softens without clogging pores.
Questions About Soap?
Everything you need to know about our handcrafted soaps — from ingredients to care tips.
What makes your soaps different from store-bought soap?
Our soaps are made from scratch in small batches using natural oils, rich butters, and creamy milks. We never use detergents, fillers, or pre-made bases — just simple ingredients your skin will love.
Do your soaps contain goat milk?
Some of our soaps are made with goat milk, however we also use aloe, coconut milk, silk and many other ingredients that are luxurious and skin soothing. Each product listing notes its ingredients so you can choose what fits your needs best.
Are your soaps safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our formulas are gentle and free from harsh detergents, parabens, and sulfates. We also offer unscented and essential oil–only options for extra sensitive skin.
Do your soaps contain palm oil?
We choose not to use palm oil in our soaps. We find it to be too drying on the skin. Ingredient details are listed with every bar and on each product page.
How long does a bar of soap last?
This depends on several factors. Typically a bar will last 3–4 weeks of daily use for a single person. To make it last longer, keep it dry between uses — a soap saver bag or draining dish works wonders.
Do your soaps lather well?
Yes — we use a balanced blend of oils and butters that create a rich, creamy lather without stripping moisture.
