With each class building upon the last, you’ll be armed with a toolkit for a productive garden. As you implement the practical steps learned in each session, you will see your own garden transform into abundance. This class is highly interactive and will take place on our farm in Star. We will using the our very own CSA garden as an instructional resource. This garden is a high yielding, raised bed garden that is responsible for supplying our members with their seasonal veggies. You will be learning the steps that we practice every year to create high yields of nutritious vegetables.
The class ticket includes all 4 classes, fertilizer samples and 6 vegetable plants of your choice from the Country Goods USA greenhouse. Each class will also include take-home worksheets and class participants will have access to our private Facebook garden group to ask questions and share progress.
Please note: Class 1 & 2 require you to select a date below. Class 3 & 4 only have one date.
No, the ticket includes all 4 classes.
You will get the workbook from the class through email and you can request to schedule a make up class. This will need to take place within 2 weeks of the original class date to ensure that we are still in the planting stage of the class materials. You can also request a call to review the class workbook and you can also ask questions in the Facebook group.
We plan our classes based on our attendee sign ups so our cancellation policy reflects this planning. You may cancel your ticket up to 15 days before the first class begins. After this date, your ticket is considered non-refundable. You can transfer your ticket to another attendee anytime.
The available tickets for this series represents the space that we have in the garden to properly teach. All participants need to have their own ticket for the series.
The farm is not a great place for young children. There are many obstacles and dangers that pose a threat should your child wander off and proper supervision may be tough in this learning environment. If you have an unavoidable childcare situation, please reach out to us at 208-576-4726 to discuss solutions that we may have.
