Event FAQs

Will I get to milk a goat?

It is not guaranteed that we will be able to milk a doe on the day of the class but we do make every effort to do so. If we do milk during the class we will allow you to try.

Can the cheese be made to be lactose free?

We use raw goat milk for our cheese making as well as cow milk. The cultures we use convert lactose to lactic acid so we do not have the ability to use lactose free milk. Once you learn the process of cheese making you can get the proper culture and practice with lactose free milk at home.

What if I cannot make it to the class?

Our classes are small and each class will fill up. If you cannot make it to the class and you are outside of our cancellation period then your ticket will be forfieted. You can transfer your ticket to someone else prior to the class start.

What if I am running late to class?

Gates open for class 15 minutes prior to the start time. Gates will close 10 minutes after start time. If you do not show on time and do not contact us to make arrangements for late arrival then you will not be able to attend the class. Once the gates are closed and class begins there will be no way that we will be able to leave the class and open the gates.

What is the cancellation policy?

Tickets can be cancelled for a full refund 5 days prior to the start date of the class. After this period ticket purchases are final.
