The holiday season is upon us and it is a great time to make jam. Fruit can be purchased year round for preserves and this makes a great gift or a great accompaniment for your holiday breakfasts or cheese plate. Learn the art of creating the perfect jam. In the first part of the class we will cover canning and equipment basics, safe canning practices and ingredients needed. Then we will go hands on and make some jam. This class will teach on the water bath canning method. We will also learn how to make a quick rustic loaf of bread that can be used for any meal or holiday gathering. At the end of class we will sample the jams we made on a fresh slice of homemade baked bread. You will leave with one jar of jam.

The ingredients for the jam class are chosen ahead of time and the recipes will correlate with the ingredients. For this reason you will not be able to choose what is getting made during the class.
Our classes are small and each class will fill up. If you cannot make it to the class and you are outside of our cancellation period then your ticket will be forfieted. Gates open for class 15 minutes prior to the start time. Gates will close 10 minutes after start time. If you do not show on time and do not contact us to make arrangements for late arrival then you will not be able to attend the class. Once the gates are closed and class begins there will be no way that we will be able to leave the class and open the gates.
Tickets can be cancelled for a full refund 5 days prior to the start date of the class. After this period ticket purchases are final.
